             Gropes for worms                                   The Barn Owl blunders

                   The four-clawed Mole.                             On her way.


             All but blind                                      And blind as are

                   In the evening sky                                These three to me,
             The hooded Bat                                     So, blind to Someone

                   Twirls softly by.                                 I must be.
