I don’t like homework. Nowadays teachers are giving homework even
during the holidays and I hate that very much. But I think there is a
reason for it. Homework is given so that we can remember whatever

we have learnt. Regular practice helps us remember what we have
read at school. But teachers have started to give too much homework.
We know too much of anything is bad. So homework should be given
with the idea of giving students a practice and not to overwork them.

B. What is your opinion on homework? Should homework be
given or banned? How much homework is okay for you? Now

Homework

One of the most difficult challenges that teachers and
parents are facing these days is getting children to do
their homework. Most children think that homework is
not useful and it is often boring. Yet, some believe that

homework is necessary. Whoever thinks in whatever
way, I think homework is good for students and that it Ashmita Puri
must be given regularly.

Homework is a learning activity, an assignment, a project which is a
part of school work that we should do at home. As we have different

subjects to study, we get homework of many subjects every day. I think
getting homework of two to three subjects is enough. Sometimes, we
get homework of many subjects on a single day. That’s too bad! We

will not get enough time to do the homework. Besides, we need to
