food and warmth. The grasshopper was happy with it. So he
sang and danced the whole day. But the ant was thinking about
the winter that was due soon. So he started collecting food for
the winter.
The grasshopper on seeing the ant invited him to join him and
share his fun. “I don’t have times”, the ant said, “I must work
hard now so that the winter would not trouble me.” “Stop
worrying so much, there is plenty of time to prepare for the
winter, let’s sing and dance together, my friend,” Encouraged
the grasshopper. The ant was not only hardworking but also
wise. So he didn’t listen to the grasshopper.
The winter came. The grasshopper found himself without food
