                         Past means the passed or bygone time. Yesterday,
                          last week, two years ago are some of the words that


                          show the passed time.
                         ‘Was’ is the past form of is and am and ‘were’ is the


                          past form of are.
                         We use ‘was’ with singular and ‘were’ with plural.
