Dylan Thomas, one of the most famous poets of the 20
th
century was born on 27 October 1914 in Swansea. He
wrote poems and stories and also worked as a journalist.
He is noted for his original, rhythmic and ingenious use of
words and imagery. He had a short life span. He died on
November 9, 1953 at the age of 39 in the USA.
