1.2. Bring some water, a bowl, a jug and a glass in the
classroom. Then put the water into the bowl, the jug
and the glass and find what shape the water takes.
1.3. Now say aloud:
a. Water is a shapeless and colourless substance.
b. The shape of the container makes the shape of water.
c. The colour around makes the colour of water.

Water is a lovely thing:
Dark and ripply in a spring;
Dark and quiet in a pool,
In a puddle brown and cool;
In the river blue and gay,
In a raindrop silver-grey;
In a fountain flashing white,

In a bubble pink and gold;
