into the classroom.

Everybody was happy

and we cheered. First

the teacher divided the

whole class into five

groups and gave each

an alphabetical name.

My group was ‘C’ and I

was the group captain. The teacher had the questions made by

himself. Most of them were related to our English text and our

country Nepal. A few were from other subjects too. A total of

twenty questions were asked. We got a question in our turn and

if we couldn’t answer it correctly it would be passed to the other

group. We had a time of 30 seconds for an original question and

20 seconds for a passed one. One point was awarded for the

correct answer. Group ‘A’ became the champion with 6 points

and our group stood

second with 5 points.

After the contest was

over, our teacher

invited the principal

to distribute the

prizes. I have won a packet of pencils.
