            We have bought some bikes. [affirmative]
            We haven’t bought any bikes. [negative]
            There are a lot of fish. [affirmative]
            There are not many fish. [negative]



            Sometimes we can change a statement into negative without changing
            meanings.
                   Someone loved us. [affirmative]

                   Noone hated us. [negative]
                   All sold properties. [affirmative]
                   None bought properties. [negative]



            Sometimes we can transform sentences changing the degree of
            adjectives but not meanings.
                   The chocolate is as sweet as honey. [positive]
                   The chocolate is not sweeter than honey. [comparative]



            Sometimes we can transform sentences changing the parts of speech
            but not meanings.
                   The pupils sat in silence in the hall. [noun]

                   The pupils sat silently in the hall. [adverb]
