e. Stress on the second last syllable if the word ends in ‘ic’, ‘sion’

and ‘tion.

f. Stress on the third last syllable if the word ends in ‘cy’, ‘ty’, ‘phy’,

‘gy’ and ‘al’.

CO.mical etc.

g. Stress on the first syllable if the word is a compound noun.

eg. FOOT.ball, KEY.board etc.
