Surgical grading

•Grading of tumor based on histology type

•G0: benign lesion

•G1: low grade (well differentiated, few

mitosis, moderate cell atypia)

•G2: high grade (poor differentiation, high

mitosis rate, necrosis and microvascular

invasion)

•The estimated metastatic risk of low-grade

(G1) tumors is less than 25%, whereasthat of

high-grade (G2) tumors is greater than 25%
