         INTRODUCTION:



         A Central Venous Catheter (CVC) is a catheter inserted into

         the blood vessel of critically ill patient for fluid and
         medication infusion. However the insertion of these catheter
         may cause Catheter-Related Blood Stream Infections (CRBSI)

         or Central Line Associated Infection (CLBSI) if appropriate
         measure are not taken.



         OBJECTIVE




         To reduce the incidence of the CRBSI  in Intensive Care Unit,
         which can be serious or even life threatening
