                        • Transformational leaders are comfortable with challenging


                            themselves, learn from their failures, and consistently

                            demonstrate effectiveness in organizational change and


                            innovation (O’Neill, 2013).








                        • Transformational leadership is viewed as an effective type of


                            leadership for nurses to lead the change necessary to meet the


                            demands of the current health-care system.
