INTRODUCTION
DEFINITION
A bandage in which the turns
cross each other like the figure
eight
used to retain dressings, to exert
pressure for joints (or to leave
the joint uncovered), to fix
splints for the foot or hand, for
the great toe, and for sprains or
haemorrhage.
