                    5. Never roll or unroll a bandage and drag it around the limb. It causes

                           discomfort to the patient. Never unwind more bandage than it is


                           absolutely necessary.





                    6. When applying a bandage over a wet dressing, no tension is applied


                           as it will shrink and become tight.





                    7. Never ignore any complaints of pain or discomfort experienced by


                           the patient. This should be investigated and the cause is removed

                           immediately.
