• Deformity can extent

1. distally to the forefoot plantar flexion (“equinus”)

2. inversion (“varus”) of the metatarsals

3. proximally to the calf, with atrophy, fibrosis and shortening of the

muscle-tendon units of the posteromedial leg muscles seen.
