             6. Reduced range of motion and loss of use of the joint.



             • As arthritis gets worse, joint may not be able to fully bend,

                 flex, or extend, or the joint may not be able to function at


                 all.








             7. Cracking and creaking. Joints may make crunching,


             creaking sounds.



             • This creaking may also occur in a normal joint. But if it does


                 not hurt mean that there it is not osteoarthritis.
