CONSIDERATIONS Ensure patient’s privacy and dignity.
Assess ABC/suction/oxygen/safety.
Ensure tubes and attachments are properly placed prior to
the procedure to prevent accidental removal.
A slider board and full-size sheet or friction-reducing sheet is
required for the transfer.
