Municipal Budget Information Index 2017

According to the indicators of the Mexican Institute for Competitiveness (IMCO), Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, is heading
to the consolidation in Public Finance as a transparent municipality, that fulfills with the government accountability
and that has the best practices in matter of income and expenditures, therefore it increases its confidence and
credibility in a national and international level.

In the following graphic we can observe the progress since the year 2009 until 2017. This are the official IMCO results,
which was analyzed by the ICCE of Nuevo Laredo to monitor the percentage of the current fulfilment, according to
the evaluation criteria catalogue.

• It is worth mentioning that according to the IIPM 2016 performed by IMCO, the general fulfilment average of the 453
evaluated municipalities is 35%.
• At the beginning of this administration 2016-2018 it had a fulfilment of 59% and in the first 3 month it increased 10%
in the fulfilment of the evaluated criteria, reaching to 69%.
• Nowadays and with the analysis performed by IMCO it has an 84% of fulfilment.
• In conclusion, during the period of this administration it has increased 25 percentage points.
