                                                               Learn ways to identify and elevate community
                                                               strengths, wisdom and voice as effective strategies for
                                                               healing in classroom communities.Become frameworks
                                                               and classroom practices to address the detrimental
                                                               effects of racism and violence in schools, to grow
                                                               students' protective factors, power and agency.


                                                               Learning Outcomes:


                                                                   Participants will learn frameworks for
                                                                   understanding healing centered engagement in
                                                                   classrooms.
                                                                   Participants will discuss the role of community
                                                                   responsive pedagogy in healing centered
                                                                   practice.
                                                                   Participants will discuss issues and challenges
                                                                   in their local contexts for healing centered
                                                                   engagement.
