Stargazer:
The woman first approached us by signalling via moonbeam. She allowed us
to enter a demiplane of a nice mansion house, and served us an immaculate
dinner. We spoke for a while and asked many questions, most of which were
about the place we were in. She offered us a lot of information, such as the
location of the dreaded Alchemist, the clothing shop, and about the
importance of the bells. Her only demand was that we survive and reach the
upper levels of the spire. In addition, she gave us some friendly advice:
We must not give away our names, as they hold immense power here.
We must wear masks to disguise ourselves, as everyone does. Masks inhibit
the effectiveness of enchantment spells and other mind-altering abilities. A
shame, as that is my preferred tactic.
The Stargazer wears the necklace we were instructed to retrieve for
Malcogitus, a diamond bearing the heart of a star. I do not believe we will
be able to retrieve it anymore.
In the trenches before the gaol, The Stargazer offered me a pact of power,
right there in front of everyone, yet no one seemed to have noticed. Time was
stopped. I must study these magics. The pact is still ongoing, and her only
demand was that we stay safe and reach the top levels, as usual. I keep
wondering; why me? Though I do not mind tapping into her reserves, as they
are incredible and immensely powerful.
She used to be a scholarly planeswalker, travelling through Sigil, The
Abyss, and numerous other places I've never heard of like "Baldur's Gate".
