Board of Directors Greetings Crusaders!
Kelly Cleary-Rebholz - Board Chair The last school year brought much to celebrate, even amidst the challenges of the

Bethany Bohmann While the pandemic certainly added new responsibilities to operating the school, it

Monica Hocum ʼ85 Our ability to return to the building was the result of the hard work of a committee
Very Rev. Dan Janasik ʼ97 of experts made up of volunteers, parents, and alumni in healthcare, facilities, and
Glenn Kormanik human resources. They joined members of the faculty and administration over the
Kathy Lang spring and summer, planning our safe return. Our back-to-school plan included
John Paul Marchan JD ʼ98 perspectives from parents and students, worked closely with the Waukesha Health
Tom McInerny ʼ03 Department, and observed the guidance from agencies like the CDC, FDA, OSHA, and
Michael McWilliams the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. Our faculty and staff were key in the well-executed
Jane Menheer ʼ83 implementation of our plan.
Tammie Miller
Eric Oechsner Faculty spent countless hours rearranging spaces, adapting lessons for both
Dan Plas in-person and remote students, adjusting to new software and supplies. Many
Michael Sarner ʼ91 volunteered to lend assistance in new ways - to both their students and their peers.
Dr. Suzanne Schmidt They offered everything from extra hours in adapting curriculum, helping peers
Mark Tomchek ʼ89 navigate new technology, and assisting with summer school for new and returning
Rev. Matthew Widder students who fell behind during the virtual experience during the second semester of
Susan Nelson 2020. Memorable milestones and events like senior retreat, prom, and graduation were
re-imagined ensuring students had as many outstanding CMH experiences as possible.

Additionally, the staff demonstrated creativity and ingenuity in the planning and
4 implementation of annual events like Open House, Crusader Day of Service, Parent
Night, the annual Crusader Auction, STEM Challenge, One Day in May, and more.
Amidst the pandemic, CMH staff added many new events including Trunk-or-Treat for
elementary school students, a winter fest sledding event for current and prospective
students, a middle school Leadership Forum, new parent zoom events, and Crusader
Fest. The dedication of the CMH faculty and staff was and continues to be inspiring.
Generous supporters enabled us to invest in supplies and provide additional tuition
assistance as the need grew due to pandemic job losses. We stayed the course of our
strategic plan - expanding the International Baccalaureate curriculum in biomedical
science and computer science in addition to growing internships in engineering
and business. In alignment with our strategic plan, we added new technology and
expertise in the Czarnecki Family Academic Resource Center to ensure all students are
