Dear Catholic Memorial High School students and families,
Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year. We look forward with joy and excitement as we begin
this brand-new school year.
At Catholic Memorial, we are excited to provide students with unique opportunities to use their
God-given talents. The faculty and staff at Catholic Memorial meet students where they are and
help them grow. Catholic Memorial provides a safe, secure environment to help our students
learn and be successful. And each day at Catholic Memorial we celebrate our faith. Through
prayer, sacraments and models of faith, Catholic Memorial students will grow to be leaders of the
values we hold to be true.
At Catholic Memorial, our students are called to be leaders in their classes, their activities, their teams
and their everyday life. We hope as the students experience this school year, they will take what
they have learned here and share their talents with others in the world. We believe our students
will lead with respect, professionalism, inclusiveness, faith and in caritas in omnibus, charity in all
things. This is what Catholic Memorial is built upon and how students will grow and serve the world.
This academic planner is intended to help organize and plan for the school year for both families
and students. We encourage students to join in the many activities Catholic Memorial has to
offer that are listed in this planner. This planner also includes the Catholic Memorial High School
handbook. The handbook reviews our expectations of behavior for students and families. Please
review and refer to it often.
We look forward to your student and your family being a part of our Catholic Memorial family in
this new school year. We look forward to your student growing in academics, faith, compassion
and holiness. Many blessings to all for the school year ahead.
