HIS T OR Y                                                                                   INTRODUC TION





































                              At Catholic Memorial High School, we expect our students to
                                achieve more than they ever imagined. We challenge each
                                 young adult who enters our doors to continuously grow

                                        academically, emotionally and spiritually.

                             Our exemplary academic programs compel students to elevate

                               themselves intellectually. Our championship-level athletics,
                               award-winning theatre program and various extracurricular
                                  activities drive students to perform at their very best.

 Our School History           We inspire and educate in faith. It is through these faith-based

                               principles our students develop as leaders, as scholars and
                                                as contributors to society.


                               This is how we help our students rise to every challenge and
                                  overcome every obstacle. Here, students become the
 Catholic Memorial High School was founded by the determined parishioners of
                                    very best version of themselves, fully prepared for
 St. Joseph Parish who in the early 1920’s began raising funds for a future high
                                        lifelong success. And at Catholic Memorial,

 when CMH opened its doors. The school was named in gratitude as a memorial
 to the 23 young men of St. Joseph’s who gave their lives for their country in

 World War II. Later, the dedication of the school was extended to include all
 graduates of Catholic Memorial who have died in service to their country.
