Microsoft Phone Calls:
Firstly and very importantly Microsoft never ever phone people – so if you get a
phone call from someone purporting to be Microsoft or similar tell them to phone
your IT Support Company. Do not proceed with phone call.
REMEMBER MICROSOFT NEVER PHONE.
Emails:
Secondly, if you get any emails that state they are from a Bank, Building
Society, Ebay or Paypal then ignore them. If you are worried then go through
your normal process to check your bank etc.
DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK IN THE EMAIL.
Pop-ups:
Thirdly and lastly, if you receive any form of pop up that you do not know if you need –
then click on the red X in the top right hand corner, If this fails to make it go away then
shutdown and restart your computer.
