M R S I N D I A - W E S T 2 0 1 8
A strong believer in the quote by Harriet Stowe, “Women are real
architects of society”; Shraddha Kulkarni is strong willed and self-
assured lady. A person with integrity of character and principles,
exuberant and humble woman. She is a philosopher, voracious
reader and a dancer. She loves pets and has many at home too!!
Shraddha is a Social Activist and indulges into different social
initiatives to make a difference in the lives of the less privileged.
Shraddha has a Doctorate in Management .She started her career
at a Junior level in a management institute in Pune and she has
reached very respectful senior position in the same organization in
a short span of time with her dedication and hard work. A
passionate professor who her students idolise and consider as best
mentor, Shraddha believes that courage is the most important
virtue of all. This is what always keeps her pacing ahead with
perseverance and gives her strength, to cope with all challenges
that came in her way.
She belongs to a very educated family and is a mother to charming
13 years old boy and wife to a very supportive Banking
Professional. Striking a balance between personal and professional
life has been challenging but enjoyable for her, as she always
pursued what she loved doing. She has many achievements to her
credit, one being, getting conferred upon “Best Management
Professor Award” by India Today. She gives her 100% in whatever
she takes up and that reflects in the outcomes.
She strongly believes in trying her limits and venturing
unexplored arenas. The desire to set an example for all the women
next door that every one of them is special and deserves to be
celebrated, she participated in the Mrs India Contest organized by
Mrs India - She is India. She was amongst the National Finalists
and grabbed 6th position in the Contest with her aura and charm.
Because of her intelligence and beauty, she conquered the West
Zone Title and Crowned as "Mrs India- West 208".
She has a very positive outlook towards, which doesn’t mean
becoming blind towards the negative aspects and sad reality of
society, instead thinking, there is hope, and it is individual’s
responsibility to keep that hope alive. As stated by her, "Our
society is crippling with many evils, violence against women,
rapes, hate crimes and crime in name of religion but we are also a
country that believes in democracy, respecting each other and
that’s why we live and thrive with so much diversity. If each of us
decide and try, we can make our home, society, city and country
more beautiful and prosperous".
That’s why through the platforms such as "Times Globus" she
wants to spread a message and wants her voice to be heard, to get
a stage to be able to positively touch upon people's lives; to make
a change…..may be small but significant!!!!
