It is heartening to see
members coming back to the
Club in encouraging numbers
and the Club a hive of activity .
In the last three months, as
clubbing activities resumed to
pre- lockdown frequency, the
G e n e ra l C o m m i t t e e ( G C ) ,
Subcommittees, Management
and Staff were kept on their toes
working to serve the Club to
ensure members fully enjoy the
facilities that the Club offers.
The GC is aware that in order
to serve the members better they
have to be involved and to
engage more with the members.
Members’ functions such as
New Members’ Induction,
Interclub Friendly Darts Game,
Ladies Social Group Luncheon
etc were well attended by the
GC.
In a further effort to enhance
t h e m e m b e r s ’ c l u b b i n g
e x p e r i e n c e , t h e G C h a s
supported the idea of bringing
light live entertainment to the
Club, with the first performance
provided by yours truly on 16th
Dec 2021 at the Golfers’ Terrace
who entertained the diners with
unplugged easy listening songs.

The General Committee wishes
all members a safe and joyous festive season as the end
of each year the Christmas festive atmosphere is in the
air.!
This season we are also delighted with the support and
confidence members have given to our Club. The Covid
19 endemic has impacted everyone and the Club too was
at a standstill for almost four months except for the
essential maintenance services when the regulation
permitted.!
We were fortunate that our Club was able to resume
operations on 21 August and the Management was able
to quickly kickstart golf operations and the food and
beverage services to provide the much needed relief for
members to resume some sort of normalcy in their daily
lives.!
The golfing activities were in full swing with members
experiencing difficulties in securing their much
anticipated golf flight for a game with their regular "golf
kakis". Covid 19 screenings were meticulously scheduled
for our staff and partners on a biweekly basis. Members
were required to be screened before being permitted
entry to the Club premises. Covid 19 safety became a
norm in the daily life of every individual within the Club
environment.!
Life seemed to be back to normal.!
Members began to feel comfortable visiting the Club
whether for sports activities or just to have a meal at our
various food and beverage (F & B) outlets. We are glad
and encouraged by your strong support for our various
services and amenities and your confidence has spurred
the General Committee and Management to continue to
innovate and find ways to improve the Club and its
services for you.!
