How this evening will work:

Before racing starts-

Become an Owner:

All horses in all races will be sold before racing starts— your horse

wins the race you get a prize.

Buy the ownership of the horse for £5

Before each race you can select the horse you think will win the race and place your bet at the Tote table
(you can bet on as many horses as you wish in any race.)

The second half of this booklet gives you details of the horses—colours and odds. Your bets are not at the
price given but paid out from pooling all the bets on the race. 50% of the total is returned as winnings shared
between all those who hold tickets on the winner. 50% of the total is donated to the club.
