went for a school trip to Pune and Mahabaleshwar. We went
by Indigo Airlines. We were 42 students and 4 teachers in all.
I sat with my class mates, Poorna and Kisha, during the flight.
We
I landed in Pune at 10:30 am. We went straight to visit the
Pataleshwar Caves and then reached the hotel for lunch. After that, we
all were very tired and that night we slept early as the next morning
we had to leave for Mahabaleshwar. At the hotel, four children shared
one room amongst them. The next morning, we left for Mahabaleshwar
by bus. We sang songs in the bus. We ate our lunch when we reached
Mahabaleshwar. The hotel was very nice. Every night, there was a
magic show organized by the hotel for us. The next day, we visited
the Mapro factory. We bought lots of jams, crushes and other such
products for our family. We also went to the Pratapgarh Fort. We had
to climb 450 stairs to reach the top of the fort. Our teachers took us
Pune Trip to Parsi Point which is in Panchgani. The view was very beautiful. All
the days during the trip were very eventful. Every night, we all enjoyed
watching the IPL matches on the television.
On the last day, we returned to Pune and took a flight back to
Delhi. Our parents came to pick us from the airport. We were excited fter the first experience of our son,
to meet our parents but sad as such a wonderful trip had got over. Jass’s P3 overnight school trip to
Our teachers took very good care of us. I can never forget this trip as Agra, we were really looking forward

we, as parents, experienced butterflies in our
stomach with anxious questions popping out of
our minds like pop corns in a microwave. Well!
This was a part of our learning experience
from the time he left to the time he came
back. Regular updates by the PTA members
kept us in touch with our children. Not for a
single moment did we feel they were far from
us. Seeing them singing, dancing and having
a good time with teachers was a treat for our
eyes! Our hearts filled with gratitude for the
teachers who assumed twin roles the moment the children parted from us.
Our happiness multiplied when Jass came back with loads of thrilling and
learning experiences. We, as parents, felt that had we taken our child on a trip, he
would possibly not have learnt a minuscule of what he grasped in this educational
trip. First of all, Jass learnt to manage his things and came back with all of them
intact! He enjoyed each and every site he visited and had something to tell us
about each place. The group saw Aga Khan Palace, Shaniwar Wada, Saras Bagh,
Raja Kelkar Museum and Pataleshwar Caves in Pune. The next day, they went
to Mahabaleshwar and Panchgani. They visited Venna lake, Pratapgarh Fort,
Parsi Point and Mapro Jam Factory. Jass was really impressed by the grandeur
of Shaniwar Wada. He loved the parks over there. The visit to the Mapro Jam
Factory was the icing on the cake. He got whole lot of jellies and candies for
all of us. The list of experience is endless and joy immeasurable. We are deeply
grateful for this wonderful experience that has chiselled our child into a person
brimming with confidence. Our thanks to the respected Headmistress and teachers
for introducing Jass to the rich heritage of our country!
