River crossing

The acti vity of River crossing
was also conducted for the
cadets. This acti vity was
conducted in two diff erent
types - actual river crossing
and zip line crossing.
In actual river crossing
cadets were made to wear
life jackets and asked to
cross the river with help of a
rope which was ti ed across
the river.

River crossing experience is
very helpful to the cadets
to understand the process
of evacuati on of fl ood
aff ected victi ms. Cadets
were given all the necessary
instructi ons along with
the safety measures to be
followed during the acti vity.
