DRESS CODES FOR
   NATIONALS AND NON-NATIONALS










   FOR MEN        FOR WOMEN
   Qatari  men  usually  wear  a  long  white   Qatari  women  usually  have  their  hair

   Expatriates  are  expected  to  respect  the   uncovered.

   knee-length and sleeveless shirts in public.  As for expatriates, the hot climate in Qatar
                  calls  for  informal  but  nonetheless  smart
                  dressing.  Women  should  avoid  wearing
                  spaghetti-strap or see-through blouses and
                  short skirts.
   Watch out for gender-specific queues and counters namely, note the separate waiting areas for
   men and women in health centers, counters in banks and the government sector.
