Welcome to the August issue of e local Eye

Summer seems to have gotten off to a late but eventually good start,
hopefully it will contine through this month at least, especially with the
airshow coming up.

Don’t forget sun protection, (should we actually get some sunshine!).
Plenty of sun-screen for the young and old, and hats are essential for
children. Plenty of fl uids too, beer and wine do not fall into this category
by the way!
For the gardeners amongst you, North Bournemouth Allotment Society
have tips and advice for you on page 36. ey also have their Annual
Summer Show on Saturday 13th August at Cornelia Road.

Please remember to think of your pets during the summer.
Make sure to put out plenty of clean water for them.
If you have to leave your dog in the car for a short time, make certain
that some windows are left open suffi ciently to allow air to circulate.
