Right in your own backyard is Lake Michigan’s most beautiful
spot on the North Shore, Glencoe Beach. The beach is ideal
for group and family outings, work picnics, or summer camp
groups! Lifeguards are on duty daily during beach season. The
beach features a sprayground for children, a full concession
stand, two volleyball courts, five sun shelters available to rent
daily, and year-round sailboat storage. Paddle boards,
kayaks, and sailboats are also available to rent daily. Glencoe
Beach is also home to sailing lessons, paddle board yoga,
Heartwood Center for Body, Mind and Spirit, Evanston
kayak excursions, and volleyball tournaments. The Trellis is
the perfect setting for cocktail parties, rehearsal dinners, and Heartwood Center for
small gatherings for groups up to 75 guests.

Boulevard on a narrow, 23-acre strip of reclaimed land
following the diagonal course of the North Shore Channel, the
arboretum is an area of natural beauty and recreation open
year-round. The Ecology Center serves as the education
nucleus of the arboretum presenting many programs
throughout the year such as an Easter egg hunt, community
plays, and musical performances.
