Showcasing the largest collection of Toby and Character Jugs
in the world including many rare and unique jugs within
the complete Royal Doulton collection. On display are over
8,000 pieces illustrating their evolution from 1765 to the
present day. A Toby Jug is a ceramic pitcher modeled in the
form of a popular character that dates back to the 1760’s.
Admission free, by appointment or Wednesday and Friday
10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Thursday Noon–7:00 p.m. First and
