Ghosts of New Bruce: Why did you found the
Jersey organization and what is your current
activity?
L’Aura: My husband and I attended the
International Ghost Hunters Association
conference in Gettysburg, PA nearly
twenty years ago. When I got home I
emailed Dave Oester, who was
president of the International Ghost
Hunters Association, inquiring as to
whether we could open a chapter in
New Jersey. The only restrictions were
that we follow their protocols for
investigation.
We put a little blurb in the paper that
we were having an open house and
people came from far and wide to
attend. Our house was packed with
interested people. We had to rent a
conference room in Westfield, once a
month for twenty dollars, to fit all the
people. The response was good because
