MARBLES

“ A little heartbeat at my feet!”

Marbles appeared on the October 2016 Halloween cover ( see
photo at right ) of the DoggieRescue magazine with Rosie.
Marbles had to wait two more months to meet his forever ‘Mum’.
My friend and her husband paid the adoption fee as a kindness
towards myself just before Christmas 2016 and Marbles and I
have been inseparable ever since. At the time he was 8 years
and 8 months old and had been trained and lovingly cared for
by Monika and her volunteers for 3 + years (April 2013 -
December 2016).

This was after my old dog "Verba" sadly, on 7
October 2016, had to have her last needle . She
was the last remaining of the two Mini Fox
Terriers ( Facta & Verba ) who the staff and
pupils of the girl's high school I'd taught at for
many years enabled myself to adopt from
DoggieRescue on 19th March 2004 .

Each month I look forward to receiving my
DoggieRescue Magazine! It is a marvellous
magazine; with amazing stories and reports
of all the wonderful work and fund raising
activities, of those volunteers and many others
at Monika's DoggieRescue.

Those who ever so tirelessly give of themselves
and their time to help make Monika's Doggie
Rescue the most vitally important and
successful animal lifesaving charity and not - for
- profit organisation that it is!
