The very first dog we met was Ranger, a
boisterous but cuddly boy. From that day we
found ourselves literally obsessed with coming
every weekend to walk a new furry friend... and
Ranger (who is now adopted) too.
I tell you that story because it’s crazy to think about
it now, for each and every Sunday I wake up early,
get a cup of coffee, put on my oldest pair of jeans,
fill my pockets full of treats and volunteer as a
harnessing volunteer at Monika’s. I am lucky
enough to meet all the dogs now, get to know them
really well and bring them out to meet people for
walks and appointments.

dog, and really work to ensure they have the best
Ash with life. I got lucky, getting to build on my relationship
Pearl with the dogs every week, but also getting to hang
with some of my favorite people whilst doing it.
If you’re thinking about volunteering, I would
say it’s absolutely worth it. Come and meet
some new friends and do something that is
really worthwhile. For more details on

Let me introduce you to Cooper, one of our Ash with
newer residents at DoggieRescue. Cooper
When you meet Cooper for the first time, you realise
just how long he is! However, don't let the fact he is
a big boy fool you, I would say he is equal parts
sweetheart and gentleman! He's just a gentle giant.
I've noticed he loves the simple things in life.
Cooper loves it when you are just hanging out with
him and I think he loves to know he has some
company! If looking for a big boy with a fun
personality, who would quickly become your best
mate, Cooper could be the man for you! Ash
