• “ LIFE INSTEAD OF DEATH ” - A NO-KILL SHELTER
Dear Readers
Everyone who meets Grayson (p41) is Monika & Grayson
enthralled by him – dapper, demure, enjoy a cuddle
so cuddly and engaging with people!
He charms everyone off their feet!
Why is he here? Grayson is lucky to
be alive. He was dragging himself
around after a suspected car accident,
surviving on dog biscuits from the
family who found him. He came in with
nerve damage and incontinence. He
stayed at our vets to see if he would
regain some control as nerves heal
slowly but unfortunately this did not
happen. We needed to amputate part
of his tail to stop him dragging it and
stop the urine scalding. Grayson has
recovered well but is looking for a
committed family willing to put nappies
on him and ensure he stays clean.
Other than that he is just the sweetest
cat. You could not ask for better!
In this issue we have announced our winners for the 2019 calendar,
which will be out soon. Congratulations to all the winners and thank you all
for participating – as you are all winners, with a special furkid who means so
much to you. Family winners who adopted Lupin, Bolt and Iggy share their
experiences and joys with you and maybe you too will think of entering into
the Calendar Competition that opens again early next year.
This month we have a special feature Pets without Partners where we are
showcasing some of our dogs and the types of families they are looking for.
