“ Lupin celebrated her
13th birthday on 20th
September ( 3 years since
we adopted her )”
Many people gave us a look that
we adopted an older dog...our
other rescue dog Cheeky (also
ex DoggieRescue) is 19 years If only I could help
old, so who are we to say how other senior doggies
long a dog will live? When we find their forever
adopt an animal it's about homes too!
them, not us...to rescue a dog
you heal their broken heart and
many a time they rescue you.
Thanks so much,
Nic and Dave Warner
MEET ‘ CHEEKY PEEKY ’
19 YEARS YOUNG! Cheeky &
bestie Tonks
Back in 2004 I was a volunteer at Doggie
Rescue. .and I met ‘Piki’… a sad dog with
a skin condition that got bullied. I called
him Peeky and so Cheeky Peeky it was…
Through his medical records we found out he
was 5 years old...so next February he will be
20 year of age. He has the qualities of a
gentleman. I had my final child and Cheeky
welcomed him and protected him and to this
day does a 'head count' of family members.
“ This boy is an Angel and you could
offer us 20 million dollars and it
would be no deal. I'm so grateful to
Monika for seeing the beauty in the
discarded in society.” Nicole
When you are looking to add a new fur kid
to your family why not give a homeless
senior dog a chance, they have so much
love to give..
