Tell me about yourself : I'm around 3 years old, and heartworm positive.
the vets think I'm a cattle x JRT—I definitely have
the energy of a JRT! I want to play! I like people,
slow short walks and snuggles. Oh and I have
something called heartworm?

Is your heartworm treatable? Absolutely! I'm not
allowed to get overexcited or have too much
exercise and I'm being treated to kill the adult
heartworms in my system and also to kill the
juvenile heartworms and prevent further infection.
My treatment will take several months but I have
great people at DoggieRescue and The Cottage
Animal Hospital taking care of me and holding
my paw through this experience.
