American dream
About 100 Puritans
A group of English men and women
sailed with the
Mayflower.
known as Puritans decided they’d had
enough of being hated for their religious
beliefs. They wanted to reform the
Protestant Church of England, which didn’t
win them many friends. Following their
DREAM of a new life, they left for America
in a ship called the Mayflower in 1620.
Rough voyage Pilgrims set sail
Loaded with supplies and
livestock, the Mayflower sailed
from Plymouth across the Religious persecution in 17th-century Europe
Atlantic Ocean. It was a long
and stormy voyage. The seasick drove the PURITANS to America
travelers we now know as the
Pilgrim Fathers finally landed
on the MASSACHUSETTS coast.
They named the area Plymouth.

Many Puritans DIED on the colonists and the growth
paved the way for more
voyage and in the first icy of trade. They are
winter in America. Glad to be regarded as the founders
alive, the survivors held a big of the United States
feast in 1621, the original of America.
