Urine Odours: It's Time to Clear the Air!

Deodorants are a quick solution, but are only temporary and merely mask unwanted odours.
To completely eliminate that urine stench, you have to identify the root cause and properly
address it—something a temporary band aid solution like deodorants cannot do.

                                       The culprits? Microscopic bacteria

Urine is hands-down one of the most foul-smelling odours around. Although bleach is often used as a remedy,
it’s not a cleaner and will only work up to a certain point. To actually kill the bacteria that cause urine odours,
you have use products that clean, disinfect and sanitize.

                                     Don’t mask odours; eliminate them!

So what causes that awful bathroom stench? Uric acid crystals and the bacteria that naturally form
in bathrooms. As urine soaks into porous cracks and grout, bacteria feed on the crystals and release
an ammonia-like odour. In busy bathrooms, floors and surfaces become an all-you-can-eat buffet for
these active and hungry bacteria. The problem is that these bacteria are difficult to eliminate. Masking
the smell they emit is even harder. In fact, when most people realize just how difficult it is to solve this
problem, they tend to throw up their hands in defeat. But there is hope! There are now new tools and
specially formulated cleaning chemicals out there that can eliminate uric acid crystals and kill odour-
causing bacteria. For example, enzyme-based chemicals are designed to digest organic waste and are
extremely effective at eliminating bacteria and their stubborn odours.

In addition to chemical treatments, there are also new and improved methods for cleaning and sealing
grout lines so that the problem won’t reappear. Mold and mildew removers can also help rid unpleasant
odours. Some even act as a cleaner, disinfectant and sanitizer—allowing you to efficiently resolve the
                          problem in just one step.

                                                    Breathe easier

Using more efficient cleaning methods will offer better results and save you both time and money.
You’ll no longer have to clean the same problem areas over and over again simply to mask
                                                         stubborn odours.

Yes, you can finally win the battle over your foul-smelling bathrooms. You and your clients will
                                                     breathe a whole lot easier!
