Food Surface Treatment Tunnel

RGF’s Food Safety Division manufactured a custom 360-degree treatment
tunnel for a dog food production plant in Seward, NE. Chubs of meat were
brought into the plant, wrapped in a plastic casing. These casings had to be to
be decontaminated prior to entering the raw production floor. The tunnel
conveyed chubs at a rate of 18 chubs per minute, in addition to variably sized whole meats at a rate of 12 pieces per
minute. The tunnel was designed for clean in place (CIP) with high pressure washdown, except for the lamps which are
hand washed. The tunnel was constructed of all food grade material in RGF’s facility.
