Ultraviolet Lamps Employing Unique Gas Mixtures
Researchers at RGF are also studying the different wavelengths of
light and UV produced by gases at different pressures and in
different combinations. These lamps operate quite differently
than typical low-pressure mercury lamps. Some of the gases
required only work in ultra-pure environments. RGF has patented
a new type of electrodeless lamp that doesn’t contain filaments to
burn out or degrade over time in the way that traditional lamps
do. This is effective for an endless life lamp. This is just one
example of the continuing ongoing research done at RGF.
