Saud bin Saqr: ‘Hope Probe’ perpetuates the name of the

UAE among the Advanced Countries in Space Industry

His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah,
affirmed that the success of ‘Hope Probe’ reaching the Orbit of Mars is a Pioneering Historical and Scientific
Achievement that perpetuates the name of the UAE in the ranks of the Advanced Countries in Space Industry
and Scientific Research worldwide.
His Highness praised this Arab Achievement by the people of the nation due to the unlimited support of the
UAE Wise Leadership, stressing that the people of the Emirates are able to reach their dreams and aspirations
to the utmost limits, and that the word impossible is not in their dictionary.
His Highness Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah said: “Five decades ago, the dream and ambition of Late Father
Sheikh Zayed, the Founder of our Country and the Builder of its Renaissance, was to reach from the desert to
space; and today the dream came true in conjunction with the UAE’s Fiftieth Anniversary of its Formation.
Our dear country, with the arms and minds of its loyal youth, was able to write a new Scientific History in let-
ters of “Hope” and “Possible.” We congratulate the people of UAE, Arab and Islamic World for this Historic
Space Achievement by entering ‘Hope Probe’ into the Orbit of Mars. An achievement that demonstrates the
UAE’s civilizational and humanitarian mission to the world, and affirms our ability to compete with developed
countries in the fields of Space and Science.
On this Historic Occasion, His Highness, the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, extended his sincere congratula-
tions to His Highness President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin
Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed
bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed
Forces, His brothers Rulers of the Emirates and to the people of the Emirates for this Historic Achievement.
