Workforce and developed the first nanotechnology associate degree
program in N.C. Forsyth Tech was chosen by the Manufacturing
Miller Street Institute one of four community colleges nationally to model advanced
manufacturing skills standards endorsed by the National Association
of Manufacturers. The College is designated a Center of Academic
Excellence and East Central U.S. regional center by the National Security
