A lavish barbeque was hosted by dedicated Teaneck JCT
supporters Tamar and Ross Rothenberg where JCT alumna
Dr. Natalie Fardian Melamed was interviewed about her
experience at JCT which she says has been instrumental
in her current career path as a respected researcher and
expert in her field. Natalie holds a portfolio of impressive
credentials and is currently conducting post-doctoral
nanoparticle research at Columbia University in the
area of colored laser use in cancer and other potential
treatments.
The new dormitory is only one piece of the puzzle in filling
the unique need for comfortable housing options for
orthodox students and their families. JCT has now also
begun renovations of the Sherman Dormitory Residence
Hall which will see an addition of two floors and its
adaption as housing for married couples.

“They are solving the haredi issue with greater success
than any other program in Israel, training more than two
thousand haredim annually as top engineers, accountants
and health care professionals; allowing them to integrate
into the workforce, while retaining their cultural identity.
With a 90% employment rate, we are getting them off the
public payroll, strengthening their families, communities
and the economy of Israel for generations to come.”
Tamar also told the guests about the new International
Program option now being offered. “Our children
graduating high school can now consider making Aliyah
with an affordable degree in English that will set them up
