He also held membership in the Scottish Rite Bodies of Spokane, being made a Knight Commander
of the Court of Honor in 1946. He was also a Noble of El Katif Temple of the Shrine at Spokane.
Among his community activities, he was president of the Stevens County Educational Association,
and the Lincoln County Educational Association. He has also served as president of the Odessa
Chamber of Commerce, the Cheney Commercial Club, and the Spokane Rotary Club.
Most Worshipful Brother Leslie Ward Lee was called from labor on October 5, 1952.
