Language is a tool – the primary tool – for building relationships with
other people. The more effectively a person can use a language, the
more effective they will be in bridging cultures, customs, and
national boundaries.
Union Language School can provide the highest quality Thai
language learning experience, while helping students learn to build
cross-cultural bridges and long-lasting relationships with Thai
people. The key to this is strong relationships between teachers and
students, students and other students, Christians and
non-Christians, mission organizations and other mission
organizations. That begins in the classroom on your first day at ULS.

We Offer:
Free W iFi for students to be able to communicate with
others between classes via the Internet. Free coffee, tea & water for
students to drink.
Couches and chairs in several areas. A kitchen with a refrigerator,
microwave to be able to store their food, medication, or personal
items.
A private room for those who are not feeling well to rest until they are
able to return to class.
An “Open Door” policy with the Senior Executive of the school
to be able to discuss any and all concerns.
65 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
In 1955, three independent Protestant Christian mission organizations
came together to form Union Language School, under the umbrella of the
Foundation of the Church of Christ in Thailand. At that time, its primary
purpose was to prepare mission workers to share their faith with the Thai
people.
Times and purposes have changed. While ULS still teaches many new mission
workers, we also teach many others. For example, Chinese students come
to learn Thai so that they can continue their education at a Thai university.
American businessmen come to learn Thai so that they can work
side-by-side with their Thai manufacturing partners to improve their business
operations overseas. The list goes on and on.
How will you use the Thai language in your work? We do not
know, but we would like to help you achieve your goals by
providing the best possible foundation for your use of this
