only to be the angle of vision that one employs to interpret
these scriptures. In viewing through the lens of the mind,
the individual either extracts a literal or a figurative inter-
pretation, an exoteric or an esoteric understanding, pointing
to the great principle that you can never be greater than the
concept you hold of yourself. In general, truth seekers first
perceive and then follow either the letter or the spirit of
the law, and this choice determines how any devotee will
ultimately interpret one’s own holy scripture.
There are many biblical references that clearly sub-
stantiate the same principles that the Masters of light and
sound represent and uphold. For example, the Masters
point out that the higher levels of heaven are within you,
and similarly, the Bible states, “The kingdom of heaven is
within you,” and “In my Father’s house are many man-
sions.” The Masters emphasize that the soul reposes itself
in the third eye and that all worship commences from this
sacred temple. likewise, the Bible states, “know ye not
that ye are the temple of god, and that the spirit of god
dwelleth in you?” The Masters of the light and sound
unanimously declare that one’s scattered sensory currents
must be consolidated back into the third eye to receive
illumination. likewise, in the Bible it is stated, “The light
of the body is the eye. If therefore thine eye be single, thy
whole body shall be full of light,” and also, “god is a spirit
and they that worship him must worship in spirit and in
truth.” The Masters of light and sound lucidly explain the
inexorable law of karma, and biblically this principle is
stated as, “Be not deceived. god is not mocked, for what-
soever a man soweth, that shall he also reap,” and similarly,
“For every man shall bear his own burden.”
There is also biblical scripture which confirms the
spiritual mantle being passed from John the Baptist to Jesus,
and then from Jesus to peter, verifying the light and sound
