The MasTer responds To seeker InquIrIes 1 1
Many seekers assume they know what true spirituality
is, but truth be told, ninety-five percent of their thinking
has actually been given to them prepackaged. nearly all of
the images, thought forms, and knowledge that we possess
prior to realization have been borrowed from someone or
something, for there has been very little experience on our
part to create real, firsthand knowledge.
Therefore, in this ignorance, we relate to the highly
conditioned and largely preprogrammed mind as our real
self, or our true identity. We adopt the mind’s perspective,
and we rely on it to guide us through life and to regulate all
of our actions. Worse yet, we invoke and engage the mind
to perceive, self-evaluate, and judge ourselves. But even-
tually, we catch the ego one day claiming, “I am really
quite evolved and there is no one greater,” while the next
day it is found complaining, “I am no greater than a swine,
and I do not even know how to tie my own shoe laces.”

ceive this ceaseless vacillation in your own mental atmos-
phere. With time and effort, the mind will become a very
good servant to soul...but in the absence of soul, it is a very
poor master.

this path. Is there an explanation for this?
A. This is an issue that affects many sincere seekers, so
first, please allow me to restate and lovingly reaffirm that
the soul is a drop from the divine Being, and thus it has the
same attributes, the same omnipresence, omniscience, and
